Here at AR Entertainments as part of the Armstrong Richardson Group we have chosen our charity for 2017:
Aplastic Anaemia Trus
The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to research into aplastic anaemia and the support of patients and their families.
This charity was chosen for 2017 after Brian Jones, father of Nigel, Mark and Craig died from this rare blood disorder where the bone marrow fails to produce essential blood cells. This is the only charity dedicated to supporting research into this disease.
This year already
Charlie Jones and her friend Harriet Spalding have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m) with a trek taking 7 days! Raising £6300.00 and counting!
Further fundraising events for 2017 include but not exclusive to:
Bake Sale and Easter Raffle – £958.35
To be completed:
3 Peaks Challenge – Participants attempt to climb the highest mountains of England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours.
All funds raised will be matched by Armstrong Richardson!
Many thanks to all donations received so far. Good luck to everyone and please donate what you can!
